Audi A4 Passenger side wing mirror not working & now airbag light

Hi all ,

My 2013 A4 has an issue where the passenger side wing mirror was not working.

I replaced the motor in the mirror this made no difference.

Last night i stripped down the door and found no loose connections. The heated part works fine so i can only presume its an issue with the door control module?

Ive put it back together and jumped in the car this morning and the air bag light is now showing on the dash .

Any ideas/advice ? thanks!

Ive tried a new motor & Also a door control module with no luck..

Get a scan done with VCDS and see what the airbag light is on for, it may also point in the direction of whats wrong with the mirror, but I am doubtful about that. However first port of call is a full scan.

Hi I had the car scanned the reason for the airbag light was putting the ignition on while I had the door disconnected . Cleared it and it's not come back. Bit of a strange one
