Audi a3/s3 8p Facelift ???

Nice one, would like to see that up and running.

I might struggle to get to you over the weekend, but will deffo try my best. Got a busy weekend in Middlesborough and expecting to be hung over for most of it.

some sites are saying the A3 cab will actually be based on the next gen platform and will be the first VAG car on the 'golf 6' platform, it looks like
it will definitely be a bit different from the current A3, when the main A3 is changed to the same platform is a different thing.

According to last week's Auto Express, the Golf 6 (due in Autumn 2008) will use the same platform as the Golf 5 to keep costs down - unless I've totally misread it.

To keep costs down, the MkVI will arrive in 2008 using the current Golf's platform, along with a simplified multi-link rear suspension set-up. This will allow VW to dramatically reduce manufacturing time.
