    Hi,

i have an audi a3 2009 1.9tdi, car has been running fine but recently i have noticed that the pickup has been reduced specially in gear 1 and 2.

before i used to be able to zoom off at traffic lights but now it seems the rev counter goes up but the car just does not move.

i taken to a garage who checked errors and none were found, please can someone advise what the issue can be.

    thanks

Manual, maybe slipping clutch if revs raise & limited movement.

Driving uphill in 4th or 5th gear around 2000 revs, try to accelerate hard and observe whether the rev counter matches acceleration. If not then your clutch is buggered.

Ok just tested clutch....put in gear 3 and tried to move very slowly and car stalled.

Gear 3, 2000 revs put clutch down and revs when down and put clutch up revs when back up.

Seems like the clutch is fine....any other ideas?
