Audi A3 dash temp gauge fault

my instrument cluster was flickering on off and all the gauges were not working, they would work after about 5 mins,temp gauge was out of calibration and also the fuel,
i sent it for repair which i got back within 2days and all working fine,

this is very common on these type of dashboards

i know that thats why i was thinking the repair may be the better option . i have a second hand dash with the SKC code , have a seat /vw trained tec with a full version of VAGCOM , and just picked up a copy VAGTEC lead he's playing with at the moment want to get the code for mine before we remove it in case we have to put it back still thinking a repair and sell the dash on may be a better idea if the price is good
