Hi all , i have a set of RS6 wheels on my a3 , i need 3 new tyres which will cost me £50 each.

i was condicidering a set of 18 replica rotor TTRS alloys , i can get a set with new tyres for £580

So realisticly , i need 3 new tyres anyway so the wheels would stand me at £430 + what i could get for my alloys

2 are badly scuffed but the 2 are good.

Would anybody recommend using replicas?

And also anybody have any idea what i could get for my wheels ?

Thankyou!

Most people on this site prefer genuine alloys due to quality and reliability etc etc....

Personally i dont have a problem with reps. Just dont go hitting potholes!

If your RS6 alloys are genuine then you should be able to get a fair price for them. A price for your wheels would vary but a few hundred quidwould be a good start!

I have RS4 Reps and they are pretty much all buckled and need massive weights on.

If you could afford genuine, do it

Agree with the above posts.
Genuine is the way to go.
Better qualitly. Lighter, better finish on the rims and they will last longer.
I know the real McCoys can be expensive, but sometimes its worth saving the pennies to get them.
If you pay half the price for reps and they get buckled or bashed, its going to cost more in the long run.

I know its easy to say just buy genuine, but IMHO its the sensible choice.
Its a good feeling as well once you do save up the money to buy them.

Best of luck.

Think ill skip the reps then , i think ill just buy the tyres for mine! saves a lot of hastle
