Hello everyone,

I got a problem installing the "new" Audi Concert to my Audi a3 8p 2006 (with Audi chorus). 1DIN -> 2DIN UPGRADE

So i have this type of cables in my car
1. http://i61.tinypic.com/24cyzbc.jpg

The Audi players
2. http://i62.tinypic.com/dyoq48.jpg

The quadlock adapter

New stereo doesn't turn on from the button , even if I turn the car. I think it should be rebuild / added a new + wire in the quadlock. Any other suggests please or schematic for rebuilding the wires?

Thanks :)

You need to add a jumper wire on the quadlock adaptor I used a tiny peace of wire and linked the + to the +ub I just tucked it in on the outside of the adaptor and it works great ive done it in a few cars now if I get chance tomorrow I will pull my headunit out and snap a pic for you mate it literally takes a few seconds to make it work it just needs 2 lives that's all

It goes from the +ub to di sens I just made a tiny u shape peace of bare wire and pushed it into the front of the quad lock adaptor and pushed that into the headunit it's worked ever since if the headunits a symphony II+ it should play MP3 and you can add aux to it it needs activating with vcds if you fit aux though hope this helps

Thanks a lot. I will be back here with my result! Have a nice day!

Hello....back with some bad news. The radio concert works after i've plughed the wire but it was necessary for a code witch i didn't have. I went with the player to someone and he succeded to read the code from the eeprom. The bad news is that now the player doesn't work. I went back and he saw it was a capacitor "out" during the first process. So ...he doesn't know well the exact location of it. I tried to search a image on google with the motherboard of the player but no results.....i know this is too much ...can someone help me with it?

Great stuff glad it's working for you now
