Hi, im trying to get rid of the orange rear indicator bulbs for my 2006 A3 8P and according to Powerbulbs.com I need P21W 382 opposite pin bulbs but I cant see this type made by Phillips (Silvervision). Does anyone know of a direct replacement silver bulb for the rear which is branded? I have tryed the cheaper types on ebay on previous cars but I found they have poor light output and start to pit!

I have found Halfords supply the Silvatec Bulbs 343 but im not sure they will fit?

I already have the Phillips Silvervision PY21W 581 offset for the fronts from my previous car but I have not fitted them yet.

Anyone have any pictures with them fitted?

I have some silver indicator bulbs in the front and rear on my A3 S-Line, I used the same bulbs that are fitted into Peugeot 107's headlights, If the pins don't have the correct offset (I cant remember if they did or not?) then I have before just filed off one of the pins, still holds tight in the bulb holder and works fine...

    Cheers Paul

Please can everyone ignore my first post. I wish I never clicked on the powerbulbs website link, all the other sites I clicked on showed me the bulbs are P21 581 Offset rear indicator bulbs (like the fronts) so I thought the only way round this was to remove the lights and see for myself! As I had two sets of the Philips Silvervision bulbs from my previous car I thought it would be best to use them! Removing and fitting the rear lights does require persistence. Worthwhile alteration, cant wait to get the car out of the garage to see the full results.
