Audi A3 1.8T rear number plate bulbs

Hi guys,

I wonder if someone can help me, I need to replace the numbers plater bulbs at the rear of my Audi A3 1.8T (2001)

Firstly, is this something I can do? Secondly, does anyone have any recommendations, should I get the LED ones? or just normal ones?

Is there somewhere decent online I could buy them from?

36mm festoon (i think)

undo the 2 screws holding each bulb holder in place, remove old bulb, replace with new bulb, very easy job only takes 2 mins.

16 SMD bulbs, i get mine off ebay
2X 36mm 16 SMD Led Car Festoon Interior Light White 12V | eBay

i got them in and outside the car, very bright.

got mine from The UKs No1 LED Light Tape and LED Bulb Supplier | Ultra LEDs I've always used theirs, never had any problems. Avoid Halfords ones btw, you'll get about a month out of them!
