Audi 80 Sport 16v

I'm going to take a look at the above car tonight.
Car has done 122k miles, is there anything I should be looking out for. I suppose my main concern would be the valve guides. Can an 8 valve head be swapped for the 16v (just thinking of a cheap fix of the car does smoke)

Any help advice would be appreciated, obviously it would have to be today 2 Feb.

wishbone bushes front and rear, irregular tyre wear, make sure it drives straight! any excessive engine noise or smoke - just walk away.
