I have a 1.8T sport and looking at a few styling ideas before the car gets a full respray.

I have the RS4 bumper and i need to get a wing for the car, so looking at either a replacement wing or new RS4 wings.

    Keep it as standard

RS4 bumper modified to fit standard A4 Arches.

    RS4 Bumper with RS4 wings

Not sure if it will look any good with the front arches being flared and the rear standard.

    Opinions please

Having flared fronts and not rears would look gash.

Just get the RS4 bumper fitted into the existing arches. CliveH did this on his and it looks fantastic.

Will definitely look odd, with wide shoulders and slim hips.

As BT said, RS4 bumper modified to fit A4 wings will look great.

Aye, Craig. But that's standard on URS4/6. The A4 will look odd, especially due to the fact the sills are extended.

You'll need some patience, as well as a heat gun, not too hot though. A hair dryer will be fine. You'll need to bolt the bumper to the car, and slowly apply heat, and blend the sides to match the stock A4 arches.

I have both front wings from my '96 A4 quattro. Let me know what side you're after, and where you are.

Hmm, RS4 front wings lower section doesn't match up with stock A4 / S4 skirt.

    It looks unfinished.

to be fair we're not sure whether Clives bumper was modded or not, we certainly didn't mod it when we fitted it. as far as i can see the modding is to stop the underside of the bumper from becoming wavey. there was no marks on his to indicate it had been cut and rewelded that's for sure.

it's a piece of cake to fit, you have to use the RS4 bumper mounts, grills, foglights and headlight washer covers. bin the A4 side bumper mountings as the RS4 bumper mounts direct to the inner edge of the wing. you'll also need to get your hands on some black plastic sheet about 2mm in thickness to make up some infill panels for the inside of the wheelarch and to get the bumper to line up with the wings we put some washers under the upper bumper mount bolts to angle the mounts down slightly.

I'm sure Clive will be along at some point to post a couple of pics

Aye, but not just the front - the whole lot, combined with a Euro S4 rear bumper.
