audi 1.8t quattro s-line??????

Hi all,
Ill start by saying what a great forum!! Oh and hi all.
I recently bought a a3 quattro (1999 v reg) and i must say what a ****** car compared to my last car a celica vvti.
Anyway lets cut to the chase, my a3 has s-line badges stuck on the side!! Did they even do a s-line on or even that year/car.
Or has the badges just been stuck on?

Been stuck on mate... S-line was the later 8P A3 not our 8L
