That is the one benefit I get from having lag - WMI doesn't fire up till about 4K, meaning under normal driving, it just sits there and does nada.

I let my car sit on the drive for 10 mins yesterday switched off while I went and got changed. When I cam back out and opened the bonnet it was crazy! I couldn't touch the inlet mani.

LOL, with WMI on the dyno, the inlet manifold is cold to the touch....
I would have nuked my clutch. I tried launching it a few weeks ago and the clutch couldn't clamp, it just produced a LOT of smoke and stinkyness.
OEM clutch struggling to tame 330 ftlbs unsurprisingly. I must get a good one.
The inlet mani is cold after a run because the new cooler is doing it's thing, but leave it to sit for 10 mins and soak up the heat and you could cook on it!

I dont think painting my rocker cover, charge pipe, and inlet mani black has helped the cause!
yeah im on 16 psi at the mo so I dont imagine the torque is monsterous.
Mine will probably go at some point (it's only 6-9 months old) at which point Ill swap it for senior Tufftys set up
That's my plan on Friday. Get Bill to setup with no more than 19psi.
Exactly my plan combined with a lightened flywheel from the states.
It'll keep your blower much happier and the heat down as well.
More room for a bit of timing instead of the boost.
Yeah I'm done with cracking turbos from heat so I hope to keep the power friendly and usable.
