    Its monday.
    Another week of doing nothing.

Well, I might have something to do. Got a team of 4 people from our future employer to check on our processes and do 100% audit of every IT equipment that the two network teams support.
    Might be fun.

I think i'll go and hide with the boat engineers and see if I have a play on a fast rib.

I've almost completed Dragon Age II, 60 hours in to it. Thats good going, better than the 6 hours to compelte black ops.

    Good weekend all?

    Any thing interesting happen?

I watched comic relief which I loved. I dunno what you people think of James cordon but he cracks me up. His sketch this year was brilliant.

Kids birthday parties and family parties made me glad to get to work for the rest :)

Split up with the missus, got back together again after she did some ass kissing (not literally).

    Gave up smoking.

Saw some ASN peeps at Badger 5. Took Dane out in my car and made him laugh like a little girl.... :D

    Cleaned and polished the S3.

Took some photos to send off to Performance VW.

    That's it.

At least there is make up sex to look forward to. :)

Read your Badger thread. sucks about your BHP.
If it is the turbo, you going to upgrade it?

Cool photos, entering them in to the photo comp?

I know the feeling. It's not all bad though, my bird is next to a nympho, so I don't need to watch porn, she just lets me bang her whenever I want which is handy. lol

Our 'wobble' was due to her being a twat as well - long story....

    I like nice productive weekends.
I can't handle sitting on my ass doing nothing.

As long as i watch legal porn the misses dont really care.
She does get a bit worried when I get bored and search for random words on porn sites or porn parodies.

I did attemp to use Chip-ex over the weekend. Not that sure on it at the moment.
Any of you guys used it?

It depends on the size of the chip your trying to repair.
a deep chip or a chip of large size is hard to do. you dont get any way to fill the chip, apart from fill it with paint. No laqure but you can do that your self.
The way they tell you to level the paint or remove the excess from around it is a good idea but most of the time i'm just removeing the paint from in side the scratch it self.
You do get alot of colour coded paint and polish for your money but for the price and what you get I'd recomend getting the touch up pens from Audi and some really small fine brushes from where ever you can and normal polish.
But this is just my thoughts and views on it.
    Others might very. :)

I got some pics, i'll try and get them up if i think they are worthy.

I understand that you would not fully remove the scratches.
I guess I was expecting more going be the other reviews and pics.

May be paint, laquer and polish it with some G3 sort of compound?

I'm waiting for the third thing to go wrong with my Passat, had a flat tyre last week with 300kgs worth of stock in the boot, so limped it 5 miles back to my work place killing the tyre in the process. Today on my weekly stock run, had smoke coming out my brakes when I got to Costco carpark, seized frikin caliper, drove 30mph back to work lol.... NEXT!

I've noticed an increase wheel and tyre damager over the last couple of days.
    Not sure why or how.
My mate was driving home and he had a blow out in his VRS. When he was telling me I thought it was no biggy, he was going slow then I remember he's running 20" wheels. Not the best thing, The alloy seems ok.
Another mate was going going home after a evening out with his wife and on the way home at about 20-30mph his tyre decided to let go and this is what he was left with.

This has been sat at the end of out street since friday. He lives two doors down from me, i've not seen him to ask him what happened but how do you damage both wheels on the drivers side of a van/car?

JoJo, Good luck with your third thing. He's hoping its something cheap and easy.

Lewis, did this C U Next Tuesday bloke drive off or leave any details? I'm assuming he just drove off. I hate that!!

WooHoo meeting with the ToSP team. IT take over team, not sure what the ToSP means.
    I've never been so busy.

What is this M word you speak of?

I might finish off my search for porn on the servers.
I spend all days yesterday watching missle test launches, missle nose cams and attack helos attacking people and stuff.

Mikey, you never had a proper interview?
    Lucky man.
My girl friend only ever had 1 proper interview for a part time sales assitant. 5 years later shes the manager of one of the highest earning shops in the area and no interviews. Some people are lucky. :(
    I'm not jealous at all.

Not really no, first job just walked into a few workshops asking if they wanted a mechanic as an apprentice, one was like yes ok!

They probably werent too fussed as only paid about £30 a week! Then from there every job has basically been word of mouth, people recomending me, so the interviews have been short and sweet.

My favourite was when i was head hunted, the owner of the company took me out for a curry!! Didnt take his job in the end though!

Thats what interviews should be I think.
    Nice and relaxed but professional.

Dont think i've ever had a relaxed interview.
    Had some really **** ones.
Group interview was the worse. I hated that and so happy I never got the job, I would have turned it down.

You're just in the wrong part of 'IT' - lol, so many parts of it.

I love what I do (well, not at the moment, I'm babysitting a customer project), but being a mobile server engineer rocks.

Never two days the same. And I get to drive the S3 everywhere. :D

    You might be right.
I really enjoyed being a field engineer. That job rocked.
Covering tills, servers, PC, Printers, switches, hubs any thing else they had.
Sorting issues from broken screens, ram raids to refits.

I dont think this job really helps.
Never ever happens, there are loads of projects, tech refreshes and server work going on around me but my manager does not want me to go or help out.
    Its gay!!

I want to win the lottory or something and just build a garage and make things. lol

    What a crock of ****.
Do insurance companys not relise that people can have crashes going backwards as well as forwards?

My mate was on a hill waiting for the traffic lights to change and the bird in front of him rolled down the hill in to him and claimed that he hit her.
He had a number of witnesses and it still took months and a court to side in his favour.

They hit you and they got out with bats.
    Run em over. lol

my answer is a witness, and AITS said they would do some stuff to prove that hes statement is basically alll wrong and then they cant side with him if its scientifically wrong.... then court, then many arguements, then just waiting, the annoying thing is ive had 2 witnesses back out on me so far because there 'scared of possible reprocussions from giving a civil statement'.... that cant be released to the the public.... what aload of back boneless to**ers :banghead::banghead:

Thats why the criminals win really innit.
    People are scared.

If everyone stood up to the criminals it would help.
Shame its easier to bow your head and hide, than stand up proud and do the right thing.

On a slight subject change, I am going to attempt to do as many of these in the lifts today as possible.

I will edit the post as I do them - with results...

    The list:

When there's only one other person in the elevator, tap them on the shoulder and then pretend it wasn't you.

Push the buttons and pretend they give you a shock. Smile, and go back for more.

Call the Psychic Hotline from your cell phone and ask if they know what floor you're on.

Swat at flies that don't exist.

Grimace painfully while smacking your forehead and muttering, "Shut up, all of you, just shut up!"

Crack open your briefcase or purse, and while peering inside, ask, "Got enough air in there?"

Lay down a Twister mat and ask people if they'd like to play.

Leave a box in the corner, and when someone gets on, ask them if they hear something ticking.

Ask if you can push the button for other people, but push the wrong ones.

Pretend you are a flight attendant and review emergency procedures and exits with the passengers.

Stand silently and motionless in the corner, facing the wall, without getting off.

Stare, grinning at another passenger for a while, and then announce, "I have new socks on."

Draw a little square on the floor with chalk and announce to the other passengers, "This is my personal space!"

Fart loudly then exclaim "Was that you. There's no way I could do that one because unfortately mine don't come out loud."

Before the elevator door opens shout "DING" and then laugh and say "beat you again Mr Elevator."

Stand really close to someone, sniffing them occasionally.

Hire a labrador, wear sunglasses and repeatedly walk into the walls whilst pretending to not hear the other passenger's direction.

Drop a pen and wait until someone reaches to help pick it up, then scream, "that's mine!"

Hold the doors open and say you're waiting for your friend. After a while, let the doors close and say, "Hi Greg. How's your day been?"

Stare at another passenger for a while, then announce in horror, "You're one of THEM!" and back away slowly.
