    Hey chaps,

Not a major thing but I have to tap my ashtray light that comes on red underneath the console to get it to come on... Anyone had this with there? It randomly goes off sometimes and a quick tap will bring it on. Anyone know how to access it, is it part of the ashtray?

Also read you can sway out the ashtray for a blank tray or something... anyone done that?

take out the ashtray (2 screws at the top of it) and pull it out. disconnect the 2 wires and you will see the little offending bulb. (in white casing) mine did not work so i swapped the light unit with another one off a spare ashtray.

    hope this helps :)

Sweet thanks for the quick reply! It's weird as the light actually works, I just need to tap it to get it working lol! Maybe the wires are at fault....

So where are the 2 screws exactly mate? Cheers

open the ash tray... IIRC they are in the top of the ashtray. (behind where you push it to open it)

    does that make sense?

apologies in advance for the slight hijack but do you guys have rubberised or soft-touch material in your actual ashtray like the area below the ash tray, or the area to the right of the handbrake or is it just hard plastic?
