As I suspected!!! Missing Nappa!

Finally got into the vehicle order system as my old order was stopping it from displaying but the lease company canceled that which enabled me to check on my new order and the spec is supposed to be:

A4 1.4 S-Line in Daytona Grey with Tech pack and fine Nappa leather and according to the spec its Leather/Alcantara.

Its already in the UK, (status 40) and I just cannot wait for another but how disappointing is this!!

My original order form specifically states Fine Nappa Leather, which to be honest I could have done without (as the car was a canceled order that I took over) but now I've had time to warm to the idea.

Annoying but as mentioned above some form compensation should now be offered/negotiated. It’s an £800 option presumably factored into the price/finance.

Personally I prefer the standard leather/alcantara so won’t be ticking that box but understand your frustration.

You could wait until you see the vehicle before deciding as, Spaceman_RS3 points out, it maybe just the tracker that is inacurrate. Or you could always ring AudiUK to see if they can find out more accurate information...

I've leased a fair few cars over the years.

You always pay for options in full over the term of the lease - they see no resale value in them. If you don't receive the specified car either reject it or demand the difference.

Thanks guys, the nappa was on my original invoice, going back over it, it does indeed state nappa as the interior but it isn’t in the “extra options” section but then again neither is the tech pack (however, the Daytona is)

I’ve gone back over the figures and added it all up including discounts, deposits, finance contribution and included the VAT and it looks like I haven’t paid for it originally (I can only assume the invoice lists the interior incorrectly)

I’m due a video from the dealer showing me the car within the next week or so, do you think I should just leave it or push the point that it was included in the original invoice (even though it’s not listed as a charge)

I guess there’s no harm in asking them to confirm their understanding but it’s up to you. If you think you haven’t paid for it and can live with the part leather/alcantara you’ve got to ask yourself is it worth the hassle/delay in getting the car?

If you had paid for it and hadn’t got it, well that’s a completely different scenario.

Yeah my thoughts exactly, I think I will mention it as I thought I was getting it included with the original price agreed, so technically I had factored it in myself even though the figures don’t reflect that (I obviously just can’t do basic maths) I think I’ll try and get some freebies if I can, I’m currently enquiringly about the UTR so would be nice to get it added for free

Yup it’s £695 fitted, so not cheap for what it is, I was only gunna buy it if it intergrates with the built in WiFi but still haven’t found that out.

It’s pcp direct through Audi, the order form says nappa!

I have to agree with the tracker not being accurate. I remember it showing that mine was missing a few options but it turned up correct.

The tracker was wrong on mine about a couple of things too, wheels and mirrors as I recall.
Don’t really see the point in raising it till you see the car either in the flesh or the teaser video, being prepared for the collection however will have the salesperson on the back-foot so may put you in a slightly better negotiating position...

Well got my teaser video and it’s 100% not nappa, however after going back over the figures I haven’t paid for it.

The dealership are putting it down to an admin error and are giving me some freebies on the day to say sorry for the confusion. (Also they have offered the UTR down to £510 fitted if I want to add it)

Can’t really bitch in all honesty as I didn’t want or expect it in the first place lol would have been nice to have though

Personally I prefer the look of standard leather/alcantara seats. For some reason the stitching on the all leather seats, especially the seat back, just looks a bit un-Audi to me.
