I'm looking at buying an A3 that was involved in a minor accident and repaired through the insurance. I had an rac inspection done and they raised some question to do with the welding in the repair. The repair centre vehemently disputes the rac's view and I'm inclined to believe them as the rac guy was really vague and I got the impression that he was just covering himself. I assume there is some kind of warranty from the repair centre and I'm wondering if this will still be valid after a transfer of ownership?
