APR GTX Stage 3 Review

    Great to see someone else going BT and exploring another option.

    I remember getting a quote from APR for a downpipe some time back and my jaw hit the floor, I hope their prices are more reasonable now lol.

    How far can you go with this kit, power wise?

    Have you had any engine or gearbox work done?

    Great write up DeckedS3, I was interested to see the dyno results. My RS3 didn't make anywhere near the APR Stage I figures on the V1.2 map and showed that same high RPM drop off in performance.

    The v2 map feels much stronger on the road and some more dyno results will be available tomorrow.

    I like the idea of these BT kits, especially with APR claiming 600bhp+ on the TTRS.

    Sorry for bumping such an old thread. Just wondering, I have heard that the APR Stage 3 causes the car to be very difficult to start in the mornings. Can you confirm this?

    Lol, no never had any problems with starting the car in the mornings....

    Might be getting it crossed up with the run flap delete without a specific map.

    True, yeah could be.... I think all APR maps have the runner flap delete included now.

    Quite likely.

    Easier to include the software than not I guess

    Taken the new ECU on mine to sort that out!
