Anyone used autogym near chester for remap??

I have just emailed them regarding prices and whether they do custom maps as the have a 4*4 rolling road.

Just wandered if anyone has used them before and how it went???

I had mine done there about 2 months ago. they do have a rolling road think its a 4x4 one but not 100% sure.
Mines runs fines and gave a good power increase and good fuel economy too.
Hes a chipped uk agent, and they have very good reviews.

was it a custom remap or just a generic one?

and how much did it cost?

mines was a generic map, he told me its good for around 190-195bhp, didnt get it rolling roaded so not sure exactly, I do want to get it done to find out.
it cost me £225.

I had my 8L S3 done there about 18 months ago, it wasnt RR'ed at the time, but it was guestimated to be running around 260 BHP. The only problem i had was the slight increase in lag, other than that, it was great. Cost - about £250 which was for the stage 2 remap.

If the lag increased, it sounds like they had to ****** the timing to run the higher boost they put through? Sometimes less boost and more timing is a nicer drive..?
