anyone replaced this part of their interior before?

    hey guys would like to know if i can replace this part pictured below.. gf dented it with her razor sharped edge folder. has anyone had this replaced before? how much did it cost u ?

    all it is a matter of taking the part off, look underneath it for the part number which will start with 8P****, phone up vagparts.com, say you are a ASN member, quote the part number, get a 10% discount, get it posted out and refit - job done :D

    yea but how would u actually take that part off in the first place? ur not telling me to yank it off are u? lol

    it should be fairly cheap, the issue will be as you have said "getting it off"

    The good news is that it will not actually be too difficult. Not done it on my A3 yet, but on the A4 it is pretty simple

    Had mine off a few times, very easy to do. Very little force is needed. The part is only held in place by a few clips. I found the best way is to lift up from where the join is, once the first clip releases the rest should follow.

    yea that will be great if u posted sum pictures up. how would u actually slot the plastic back into the carpet part?
