Thinking of painting my engine covers the same colour as my car Ming blue . Anyone done this ? If so how do you prep and what primer is best to use ?
Also want to polish my inlet manifold .Is it a big job to remove ? I have all the polishing gear .

Wouldn't bother polishing the inlet, it's a right pain in the cock to keep it clean and not looking rubbish. Do a search, I made a topic on how to remove and paint the inlet manifold a few months back.

It was called "how to clean the TB and paint inlet" or something like that.
