Another old oil related question. I had low oil come up on the car a month after I bought it,I was already prepared and had some top up bottles as I know these engines burn a bit. (2.0tfsi se)

At least after topping up I can see where I am with it. But anyhow, when I did that I cleaned up what I thought was this oil spill in the rocker cover (I believe) bolt holes.

Having cleaned them and around,a couple weeks later, I have noticed it is back. There's no excessive oil spray or large scale leakage I can see so Where's it coming from? Looks like the feed to the turbo.

Didn't know if anyone had seen this before? Common problem?

Thanks for the helpView attachment 49353View attachment 49354 View attachment 49355View attachment 49356 View attachment 49356

Not ht most helpful reply here but I have oil in exactly the same place with mine as well. I've been meaning to clean it up and see where it's coming from but haven't got round to it yet.

Thanks. With closer inspection I have found the bolts appear to be slightly loose, when doing them up tighter they have a rubber one ring on them that they grab when tightening, the o ring stretches and when you take the torx off the bolt slightly unwinds.
At the weekend I will take the bolts off one ata time and grease between the head and o ring.

If that doesn't work then it's a r c gasket, anyone any experience with these? Don't know if having the turbo feed off it makes it less straight forward?
Thanks
