Anyone installed a EGT sensor on a 2.5 TDI

Hi all, thinking of installing a EGt sensor - anyone performed this? Recommendations ?

Easy to fit, just remove the egr, use a thick blanking plate and drill and tap a hole to thake your EGT probe...

Yep, once the egr is off there's loads of room to work under the turbo... You can get propper egt bungs and have them welded onto a plate, reason is the thread is conical and will seal properly, only snag is the plate usually warps from heat while you weld it. Best to have it bolted on a piece of metal to keep it straight...
