i have a b6 52 plate 130 tdi avant and the headlight bulb has gone and its a xenon. Ive just been to my local car spairs and they want £100 for a xenon bulb. Can i put 2 normal bulbs in for the time being ? i go away tommorow and cant get a xenon in time ?
Anyone help with xenon bulb major confusion !

I dont think it will take a normal bulb.
Your best place to go is ebay - a friend was in the same situation with his Volvo - the dealers wanted £90 for a Phillips bulb.
We went on ebay and got a pair for less than £20 - they have been in for over a year and work perfectly.

Nope, you can't put in normal bulbs to get you by. Check out www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/ , prices are good and they have replament HID bulbs although sadly £100 is not far of the mark. Use the car checker and the site gives you full details for every bulb on you car.
