    Hi Everyone,
I am new to this forum but not new to Audi, I have a new SB due for delivery in two weeks and was thinking of having Glasscoat 3 Ceramic coating applied to it by a detailer rather than the dealer--------anyone had this applied, does it work etc, any advice would be much appreciated. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

I've used CCC Ceramishild and GTechniq C1 on my cars and currently have C1+ GTechniq EXOv2 to be applied on Mrs Beans new A3 Cab. :icon_thumright:

Like you not sure if I would trust a dealer to put these types of coatings on if I'm completely honest - I'd be looking for a specialist detailer who knows his/her way around these types of products.

As I see it these types of paint protection are great and can only serve to prolong the life of great looking paint as long as they are applied properly.

I did a 22PLE pro signature glass coating on an Audi TTS last month.....Was real nice and the owner was over-the-moon with it. Difficult stuff to work with though as you have about 3-5 minutes to get it on and off ensuring the coating is even. End result is normally outstanding though so worth it.
