Anyone got a solid flywheel conv on 1.9 tdi

Hi guys,

Looks like i'm in for a new clutch soon and was wondering if anyone had had a solid flywheel conversion fitted?

The price difference is quite significant i believe they're not as prone to failure as the DMF's.

I have read as much as i can and have found many differing opinions and problems from, clunks on gear changes, bent cranks, noises, vibrations etc... but i have also read that some people swear by them and have no problems whatsoever.

What's the general opinions on here please?

lighter. faster jump from standstill, makes up for some of the heavyness of the quattro
