As per the title say's has anyone ever changed active charcoal container? I just wonder how long the filter media can last, as it's already done 15 years & 230K, would it last another 10 years?

It probably isn't working as well as it should already.
But I know many cars that have charcoal canisters that have never had one changed between them, some have done 200k and/or are 20 yrs old.

I just wondered how long the media would last, my guess it that it's shot, so may open the unit and see if the media can be replaced.
