    Hi guys,

Just wondered if anyone has had to remove their boot lid before? I have a dent and 2 creases in mine that the dent repair people say will need to be done at a body shop due to the type of damage. I've found a perfect boot lid in the right colour on eBay for probably half the price of a repair and spray job. I know I'll need to swap over my boot lock and lining etc. but I just wondered how easy it is to remove and fit a boot lid?

    Any advice welcome.

Not done it on a 8P but others.

It's not a bad job but I would recommend getting a mate to help you.

Not sure if the cables got plugs at the car end to separate the cables from the boot and the body, if they don't, I would recommend getting some sort of long stiff plastic to help feed the cables from the body into the boot.

Just purchased the boot lid and collecting it at the weekend so I'll do a little guide for future reference.
