My rear hubs are rusty as hell, given its only surface rust but still, not great when the rest of the car is so clean. I am planning to find a set of Mk5 GTi front calipers and discs to get powder coated white (just the calipers) but what can be done to stop them rusting? Obviously they can be painted but that won't look that nice, might have to be done that way though.

    Any advice or solutions?

    Anyone else feel my pain???

I painted my calipers and hubs with hammerite - nearly 5 months ago - still look gleaming if i say so myself. Be prepared to put the prep in 1st and it will look much better when it is painted; and it will last longer too!
