I live and work in the country, no street lights.

Ok fair enough, but what happens when u pop to the shop and your lights are blinding everyone lol and they think there is a car without a driver about to reverse!!!

They can be turned off with the dash switch if they pose a road safety issue. Same applies if the standard coming home lights are used when parking parallel to the road.

I suppose ya right like lol.
My father in law was giving me grief for having fogs on with my drls. Reckons it's illegal and looks ****!!! I think not

How do you turn them off ? Thought it had to be done through the mmi?

How can you run fogs with DRL?

Soon as I flick my fogs on the headlights switch on too

Yes you can enable fogs to act as DRL along with the LEDS using the full VCDS! :thumbs up:

Think he means with the headlight switch. Turn it to off instead of auto

Yeah, if you are parking where the lights will cause nuisance you can turn the main light switch to OFF and the coming home lights will not be on.
