Anyone bought from Autoebid.com?

Has anyone used autoebid.com to buy a car recently?

I am after an S3, and while Drive The Deal, Broadspeed etc. can't save anything, autoebid.com reckon they can save a minimum of a grand, based on previous discount obtained on an S3.

I am contemplating doing a reverse auction on there at a price I doubt anyone would touch, just to see if any offers come through at a particular price.

Any previous experience of autoebid.com would be very welcome.

They will only do a reverse auction if you have a proof that you are going to suggest an attainable price.

I saved a grand dealing with a dealer direct.

So I would have to have an offer from elsewhere in writing?

Was the price you got from a genuine Audi dealer?
