sorry if this is in the wrong place mods!
my parents have got a bmw x3 3.0d its 7 months old and ive noticed as they pulled up and switched the engine off it makes a really odd clicking noise for around 15 seconds.
bmw told them over the phone its a coil spring related to the auto stop function and is perfectly normal.
like putting a piece of card in your bike spokes lol
its loud annoyingand ridiculous surely this isnt designed that way?
it comes from the top front of the engine.
any help would be great thanks!!!
