It starts and runs ok but seems to lack power and can be very slightly hesitant and jerks when you let the power off. Its been on the computer at the garage and it came up with the fault codes for the maf and the ect sensor both of which have been replaced and the codes cleared but the car is still no better !!!

Have you changed the divertor valve, this can cause hesitation and jerks and can cause a slight dip in performance.

The diverter valeve is situated below the turbo. you will need to remove the sump guard to get to it, but thats simple enough. A lot of people on here just fit the uprated version which is the 710N. This can be bought from Audi or somewhere like VAG parts and is quite cheap. The other option is to fit a aftermarket one like Forge,Hyperboost or Bailey
    Have a look here

This will work for face lift too just ignore the headlight part and remove them in the correct way.

How much are the standard ones or has anybody got one for sale as im reluctant to spend over £100 on a part that might not even fix the car !!!

I replaced mine without any of that just by removing the undertray and jacking the front up a bit, 30 mins tops
