Hey guys, anyone know of any decent mechanics in London? I need to fit a FMIC (star peformance) but haven't been able to find a mechanic in London who's willing and able enough to do the job on my S3. If anyone's fitted a FMIC please give me advice as to who I can see? I don't want to go to AMD and pay £380 for fitting, cheers /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif

Auto Techniks in Sutton would probably do it for you, but they're still £40 an hour so if it takes them 9.5 hours it will have cost you the same!

You can reach them on 0208 641 2699.

No idea how long it would take - just saying if that's how long it takes Auto Techniks would charge the same as AmD! Does anyone know AmD's hourly rate? We can work it how long it would take from that and the price. Or you could ask AmD directly how long the job takes and work out how much it would cost someone local to do it from that.

AMD has given me a quote of £380 (labour at £65 or £75 and hour), job should take around 5-6 hours only, but 380 is way too much for me to pay
