hi friernds. hope you are all well, iam looking at fitting uprated roll bars to my 2 litre. which ones would be worth getting. ive been looking at 2.5 tdis they look a bit thicker than mine. can anyone offer any advice please.

B7 rs4 rear arb should do the trick. Very common upgrade and not too expensive even from the dealer.

As above RS4 on the rear and most have left the front as if I remember they are the same across the range, I did see a pair on Bliesteins site whilst I was looking at coil overs the other day though.

This is one of those mods you don't see but makes a massive difference, stiffens up the rear like you wouldn't believe.

I changed everything,bar, brackets and bushes as it's all thicker than the original.

DPM do a complete Eibach set which I was looking at when I bought my suspension from them.

I only did the back also, made a huge (positive) difference.

I searched this site and iirc these are the parts you'll need:

RS4 Rear ARB Kit including:
1 x RS4 Rear Sway Bar (Part #8E0511409AL)
2 x RS4 Rear Sway Bar Bushings (Part #8E0511327D)
2 x Bushing Brackets (Part #8E0511439)
4 x Bolts for Brackets (Part #N10127707)
2 x Bolts for ARB links (Part #N10528103)
2 x Bushing Brackets (Part #8E0511439)

(I got mine from Audi parts at the stealership, check with them they're corrrect, all in was around £130ish for the above)

The price has gone up a fair bit since I did mine! Looking at the list you have 2 sets of brackets and you only need one set. I also changed the arb links at the same time when I did mine.

I think it may been more cash thinking more about it, maybe £170/80.
