Another bulb question...

I'm about to replace the bulbs in my car with Osrams.
What are the standard dip beam bulbs ?
Are they xenon ?
The reason I ask is that my mate has an Alfa 156,which takes H7's on dip.
If my standard Audi bulbs will improve his Alfa then he can have them.
His mains are H1,so not possible there.

If you have Xenon's they're xenon in which case you wouldn't be upgrading them... if they're standard they're H7's /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/fuck_you.gif

Standard bulbs aren't xenon but may contain some xenon gas to give a faint blue tinge to the light.

Haven't really noticed any tinge to the light on the standard bulbs and am currently trying to work myself up to changing to Osrams as well. I have the bulbs but can't see how my hand is going to fit!
