Annoying pop-up ads

    Im getting really annoying pop-up ads attached to my sig and other thread photos. Is this a new thing and can I disable them?

    Didn't know how to do a screen shot on this laptop so I took a piccie of the pop up. Its a 'Deal Finder' and I think it tags along with whatever is in the context of the post as on my sig it finds stuff like exhausts and filters etc etc

    Looks like a browser plugin/toolbar to me. If you're using Internet Exploder then try going to Tools > Manage Add-ons and scroll down the list to look for any deal-finder type ones. If you can spot the culprit then just right-click it and disable it.

    Thats the problem Danny....Im not using any toolbar.....:uhm: Have had a thorough search thro my PC and I theres nothing there that would cause this......very strange.

    Could be adchoice serving you based on your posts/previous cookie search data?

    At bottom of page under posting box is the adchoice pics, click on adchoices bottom right & follow info for optout & it will add an optout cookie to your browsing data.

    id give ccleaner and spybot a go first.
