Annoying Leak

Any help/information greatly appreciated.

My 2.5 A4 avant has a small 5p sized leak fron drivers side that us starting to ruin my driveway.

Cleaned engine bay down removed under tray and looked for obvious leak, no success.

Noticed my steering gator is very 'squidgy' could this be the source or a different problem all together?

Place a piece of white card down, and see what color the fluid is!

Stain on paper is dark brownish/black, Im thinking engine oil??

Would like to know if there's a common problem diy fix before I heed a mechanic to investigate.
