My 2012 Q5's AMI is not working. It worked perfectly with my old iPhone 4 but with upgrades to iPhone 5 and now 6 it doesn't work at all. I can sometimes briefly play music or podcasts on it but the cars controls don't work on the phone including the volume. I have been back to Audi dealership twice. The first time they gave me a new cord and this did nothing. (the phone charges fine it just doesn't play through the AMI). The second time they supposedly upgraded the AMI software. I also deleted my phone from the car and reloaded it. It worked perfectly for one day! I was so excited now the same thing is happening again. Does anyone have any suggestions about where to go from here? Very frustrating as I have a long commute and podcasts and music make that go by a lot more quickly.
