AMD Stage 2?

My cars previous owner had and AMD remap done through Audi back in 2006 and I belive it is now running around 246bhp. However I'm thinking of upgrading to a Sports Cat and having an AMD stage 2 installed. Is it worth it? If so, I'm not so fussed about a complete system, however Mike Stokes near me in Bournemouth will fit a Sports Cat for £350/400. Is this a good price? As I'm aware I will need this for Stage 2.

what is the amd map like,does it give you a good thrust at 2-3000 rpm or is it all top end and thrashy like apr?

Yes, I have to say it is very good. Not at all aggressive like Revo, however still a good torquie pull when the turbo spooles up.

You may want to consider a FMIC as well......

Yes I understand this is required to maximize the output. However that is a step too far for me right now. Just a Sports cat and stage 2 update and I will be happy.

Trying to find any feedback on this is hard in the B7 section!
