Hi everyone,ive just joined as im currently looking for an a4 avant and may need some advice on buying one. I currently own 2 944's and a renault megane coupe which im looking to sell to by an a4 (just the megane) as i now need a bigger car. My budget is around £3000-£3500 ,im not sure whether to go for an earlier 1.9 tdi or a newer petrol car (1.8) as i prefer the face lift models. Any advice would be appreciated !!!

I will probably try and get a face lift a4 petrol is i can,is there anything that i need to check for thats prone to be faulty on these models ???
