Allroad V6 Tdi 180bhp...Which Oil????

Allroad is due an Oil change in the next 300 miles and was wondering what other owners have been using in the form of Oil.
Engine Code is "AKE" and according to the manual Oil spec should meet 506.00 and/or 506.01.
I've been recommende Millers XF longlife 0W-30.
Anyone have any experience of Millers.
Incidentally,car has been on Longlife servicing but i intend to revert to fixed servicing but still use Longlife Oil as i tend to do short journeys.

My engine is an AKE too. Shell Helix diesel grade meets the VW spec for top ups, otherwise whatever Audi use as it has FASH.

Engine oil: filling up

The engine is filled with a high-quality multi-grade oil at the factory: this can be used all year round, except in extremely cold climates.

Viscosity grades





Select the viscosity grade of the oil according to the chart.

A - ​

High-lubricity multi-grade oils, specification → Chapter

B - ​

Multi-grade oils, specification → Chapter

A - ​

LongLife high-lubricity multi-grade oils, specification → Chapter
Note
The oil does not need changing for brief variations of outside temperature beyond the temperature ranges shown.

The specifications listed here must appear on the container - either singly or together with other specifications.
Note
When topping up it is permissible to mix different types of oil.

Vehicles with petrol engine

A - ​

High-lubricity multi-grade oils, specification -VW 500 00- → Note or high-lubricity multi-grade oils, specification -VW 502 00- → Note

B - ​

Multi-grade oils, specification -VW 501 01- → Note

Multi-grade oils, specification -API-SF- → Note or -API-SG- → Note

The date given after the VW specification must not be earlier than 10/97.

The oils are particularly suitable for turbocharged petrol engines.

These oils should only be used if the approved engine oils are not available.

Vehicles with TDI engines

A - ​

Improved lubricity multi-grade oil, specification -VW 500 00- → Note (only in combination with specification -VW 505 00-)

B - ​

Multi-grade oils, specification -VW 505 00- → Note-VW 505 01- → Note

- ​

Multi-grade oil, specification -VW 501 01- → Note (only in combination with specification -VW 505 00-)

- ​

Multi-grade oils, specification API-CD (should only be used for topping up if approved grades are not available)

-VW 503 01- Turbocharged petrol engines from 154 kW (only Audi S3, Audi TT and Audi RS4)

Vehicles with diesel engine

A - ​

High-lubricity multi-grade oils, for flexible oil change intervals

New VW standard (specially developed, resistant to ageing) according to specification:

-VW 506 00- Diesel engines (not unit injector)

-VW 506 01- Diesel engines (unit injector)
