Alloy Refurb

Hi All,

My S3 wheels are in pretty bad shape (someone should teach me to avoid a curb)

I'm looking to get them refinished and am led to believe it's significantly more expensive to get the diamond cut effect back than to just go for a painted/powdercoat finish which I think I'd actually quite like for a change. So two questions:

- Has anyone seen the standard S3 18s painted/powdered black?
- How mad will Audi be when I give it back without the wheels in their original state?

I have seen them black, they look very dark and boring. Basically they become invisible.

They probably won't be happy, so they would need to be refurbished back to diamond cut or they may charge you for the refurb or wheels.

Yeah such a drastic change would be obvious to them. I'd stick to diamond cut
