I have a factory alarm on my 93' Audi 90 CS and it has been going off frequently just because. I believe I have a short in one of the circuits that is making it go off for no reason. I goes off atleast once a day now and when I approach the car there is no sign of break in of any kind and the doors are still locked and the car is untouched. Could someone tell me if there is a short in the alarm in this car that is making it do this....are alarms really that touchy to where they will go off on sensor of a minimal noise or object passing by....I didnt think so but I am curious to know what this problem is and why it keeps going off. I would take to audi but dont want to spend an outrageous amount of money on something maybe I can look at myself or fix.
