Just purchased an S3 and had the rear quarter windows open as its warm, but i forgot to turn off the internal sensors. When i returned to the car the indicators were flashing but no siren. Any ideas and where is the siren to check it out...help.

Sirens ( I think by law) have to turn off after a finite amount of time ( and I can't remember what it is). So its more than likely just turned itself off.

I think siren goes for about 30 seconds, but indicators remain flashing for quite a while.

had a look for the siren but can't see anything that looks like one. Passenger side is the sub, changer, rear lights and a small box with foam around it.

    Any ideas??

I have a feeling it's the small box. (The one right at the back at the bottom, not the one up near the back seat - I think that's the seatbelt reel).
It's a puny alarm anyway, and sounds like a radio alarm clock.

If I remember correctly the small box with foam around it is part of the central locking.
