was talking about the people selling the pumps, as they are already off the car it would be easy to find out what models they fit in etka.

    1K0820803S wil fit an A3 2004 to 2007

8E0260805BJ is a DENSO compressor and will fit B6 & B7 model A4's FWD & Quattro models. The only other option listed in ETKA looks to be 8E0260805CB

    TimJK,

My mate phoned TPS and from that I know that the pump fitted to my car is 8E0260805BJ.

B5NUT has been helpful enough to check the ETKA and according to the ETKA the only other one that will fit my car is 8E0260805CB.

Audi are no help whatsoever. They refuse to give me the part number for the pump that is on my car and also refuse to tell me what other pumps will fit.

I assume there will be other pumps that I can fit as well as the two that I have mentioned but I have no idea where I would look.

    Any ideas?

I just bought one from an online breakers but I'm paying independent garage I know to fit it. There are a lot if options and different subtleties in part codes so be careful. I have found out a lot of info on denso pumps and a site to Criss reference to Audi parts.

Wazz try here http://www.densoaftermarket.com/catalog/. Click the find my part cross reference, you only need the first 3 digits if the Audi code. It's a nightmare finding the right part. I'm just hoping the one I just bought fits I need my car back on thr road.
