Evening all. I jumped in my car this evening after it's sat all day at work, only for a message to come up on the display saying passenger airbag on, and a big yellow icon has appeared on the trip computer with a cross through it.

Searches are bringing up airbag off results but mine said it was on. Seem an odd thing to warn me of suddenly... Plus the big orange icon is always on at top of trip now.

I've had no work done to the passenger seat or globe box. The car had two new tyres fitted yesterday but that's all, and the light only came on this evening.

Any suggestions or is it a trip to Audi?

    Thanks all :)

You could have it scanned with vcds however it is common for any car to have issues due to the seat being moved disturbing the connections such as the ones under the panel in the floor .

    Thanks chaps.

I'll check wiring tomorrow and try turning off and back on in glovebox (anything special for that, or just use a coin on it?)

Haha ah yes the key, simple when you know how!! :D

Alas it has not fixed it and nothing looks out I place under the seat. Shall have to pop to Audi.

Also had a number plate bulb go yesterday. Between that and two new tyres at weekend it's been a problematic few days of motoring! :)
