Airbag light & Buying VAG.COM

After fitting a new sub and amp my cars now displaying the red airbag light.

(Im pretty sure its because I started it to whilst the glovebox was removed)

now rather then going to the dealers to get it sorted i`m going to opt to buy VAG.COM because i plan to keep the car for a good few years and my dad has a VW . So might be able to help him out along the way aswell.

Wheres the best place to get it from ?

and are the airbags disabled at the moment ?
