Yep that is the culprit. Looks like the plug for the side airbag.
Have an electrician do it or soldering the wires together and putting some heat sink on should do the job. You will need VCDS to clear error.

I've just done it. I took the battery off borrowed the fitters crimpers from work. And connected it all up. Put the battery back on just now and nothing's gone pop. So so far so good haha I'm just going to scan it now and see what happens
