Air vent actuator question

Hi. My s4 decided that it wouldn't demist on Friday whilst driving on the motorway in the rain which wasn't ideal. I removed the glove box today and managed to free up the Green actuator and as a result have got the demister working again. However the red (or orange) actuator at the bottom seems stuck solid. Does anyone know exactly what this one operates? I'm thinking that it could be the air flow to the foot well but before I try to source one was just wondering if that is what it does. Thanks
