Im thinking of replacing the air filter on my 1.8 Turbo Quattro Sport. Ive heard about the probs related to wacking on an induction kit, are there any induction kits that will give me no probs or shall i just replace the panel filter with a K & N one. If I am to replace the panel filter, how do I do this and any good sites to get one cheap? Any ideas or info much appreciento!!! Cheers fellas. PS: get the midland meets goin!

Oiled filters being induction or panel are known to be bad for the MAF in the long run (cost about £200 to replace).

Stainless steel equivalants or the replacement of the paper filter every 5k miles (like myself, £6 a filter) is the safer option.

The standard airbox is good for 300bhp from peoples tests
